I came across Hosties 4 Heroes after seeing pictures of some of my friends taking part in a Wolf Run back in 2012. I married into the military so I knew this would be something I would love to get involved in alongside flying.

I contacted Sophy, and together we organised to fundraise at an event in Plymouth. From that day we haven’t looked back and I’ve been involved with Hosties 4 Heroes as they’ve gone from strength to strength.

As well as working behind the scenes in my new role, Head Of Charity Partnerships, I’ve recruited for challenges, and assisted with admin duties to ensure the smooth running of our events.

I’m not shy at getting my hands dirty and I’ve taken part in a few bonkers challenges myself!

It’s such an honour to be a part of a fantastic community of people. I’ve been lucky enough to meet the most inspirational people, and they are the ones that give me the ‘get up and go’ – to want to make a difference. Along with all the other Hosties, I’m very much looking forward to the next chapter of continually spreading love, sunshine and sparkle to even more people’s lives.
