General the Lord Dannatt GCB CBE MC DL, President of Help for Heroes, hosted a special fundraising event at the Tower of London in support of Help for Heroes (H4H). Lord Dannatt was appointed as Constable of the Tower of London in 2011 and wanted to use his final fundraising event at the Tower for H4H, of which he is a Founder Patron. The evening was a spectacular success and raised over £300k to support our Heroes. Lord Dannatt said, “Recovery for those wounded, injured or sick during their service in the Armed Forces is a long and complex journey that is ever-changing. There is no single or simple solution to the challenges they face but Help for Heroes has never faltered from its objective – to support these people in rebuilding their lives despite devastating setbacks. It was a privilege to hold this event and I’d like to thank everyone who attended for their support and hope you had a memorable evening. The money you raised will make a difference to the lives of many brave Servicemen and women and the families who support them"
